HOT GIRLS DO HARD SHIT!!! 🤣💓 Despite the weather, my contacts coming out at 12km (and practically running blind) and the lack of water (IYKYK), we hit sub 2 and came out with a 1:54 for my first half marathon😭😭😭 If you had told me a year ago I’d be running, let alone voluntarily signing up for a race - I would have laughed. I feel like everyone has a “why” when it comes to signing up for something crazy like this - you could just love the sport for what it is, you might be running for a cause, you may be running in honour of a loved one - whatever it is, I genuinely find it so inspiring. As you guys may know, when I signed up for this last year my why was because I had just quit vaping after 10 years and I wanted to prove to myself that I could do what seemed impossible at the time. So together with my partner in crime @hwoo.lee , we signed up for this with absolutely 0 running experience. My first proper attempt at a run was Jan this year where I could barely run 5km. I was determined and maybe a tad delusional, but I really wanted to push myself and show up for myself in ways I had never before. From 0 cardio to completing a 12 week training block, running has shown me what consistency can do for you and that you are capable of doing ANYTHING you set your mind to. Whether it’s quitting a bad habit/addiction, or picking up a sport you’ve never been good at. You are the author of your own story so never limit your growth by saying you can’t do something! Im no where near a pro runner but I sure as hell am in a better position than i was at the start of this year and that’s good enough for me! A massive thank you to my partner for pushing me every single day, my family and friends for supporting me through going on runs together or coming to cheer, @osaat.running for helping me push myself further than i would have on my own and to @shokzaunz for letting me run on your team for this half mara! 🥹🤍 Anyway it is a privilege to do hard things in life. To be tired from something you choose and to struggle for something you want. I hope we all continue to challenge ourselves in life!! 🤍
Ditching the beige was just the beginning. ⚡️🖤 When we couldn’t find many clothes that had a real edge for our son, Jet, we decided to make our own. What started as styling our own little monster turned into @hauntlingsbootique a labor of love founded by @kikiwongo and @neil_diemond . We live where heavy riffs meet bedtime stories, because childhood is sacred, but it definitely shouldn’t be boring. Our mission? Raising the next generation of kind, independent, fiercely authentic humans (and dressing them for the ride). 🤘 Playground-proof & mosh-pit ready 🖤 Buttery soft comfort and built to last ⚡️ Keepsakes they’ll actually remember growing up in Welcome to the weird, wild family. Let’s make some noise! Drop a 🖤 if your kid chose black over pastels today.

Timothée Chalamet was spotted out and about in Los Angeles, making a stop at Erewhon to pick up some food while keeping things low-key and running errands around the city. The actor also grabbed a coffee to go before continuing his day and stopping by to visit a friend. 📷: @backgrid_usa For licensing inquiries, please email us at usasales@backgrid.com #backgrid
