We brought the WORTH IT™ mic to American University and asked one simple question:

“What does the phrase WORTH IT mean to you?”

And once again, every answer gave us a different perspective on what makes something truly WORTH IT.

💭 For one student, WORTH IT means spending your time doing something you genuinely enjoy, something you value and believe is worth your time and energy.

❤️ For another, WORTH IT is something you’re willing to sacrifice for. Something that means so much to you that it becomes your whole world.

💪 One student described WORTH IT as the satisfaction that comes from seeing all your hard work pay off. The blood, sweat, and tears, the countless hours of effort, and finally watching everything come together the way you envisioned.

🔥 And for another, the answer was simple: doing something you’re passionate about.

Passion. Sacrifice. Dedication. Fulfillment.

Sometimes WORTH IT is about the journey. Sometimes it’s about the sacrifices you make along the way. And sometimes, it’s about that moment when you realize everything you’ve worked toward has finally come together.

No matter how you define it, WORTH IT is about recognizing the value in what matters most to you.
