$Meet Ava, whose years of dedication to sports have brought incredible experiences, but also some of life’s toughest challenges. After suffering four to five injuries throughout her athletic career, including two shin fractures from her most recent field hockey season that she is still recovering from, Ava has been forced to discover who she is beyond the sport she loves. Through these setbacks, she’s learned that “your relationship with others and yourself matters more than anything else.” When so much of your identity is tied to one passion, losing the ability to pursue it can leave you searching for purpose. But through her recovery, Ava has discovered that life is filled with so many things WORTH trying, learning, pursuing, and growing through. Most importantly, these experiences have strengthened her faith in Christ, reminding her that through Him, all things are possible. Ava’s WORTH IT Story is a reminder that your worth is not defined by what you do, but by who you are, the relationships you build, and the person you become through life’s challenges. by @boogsapparel$

🎤 WHAT DOES WORTH IT MEAN TO YOU? GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY EDITION 💙🤍

We took our WORTH IT™ Interview Series to George Washington University, where Ryan asked students one simple question:

“What does the phrase WORTH IT mean to you?”

And once again, every answer brought a unique perspective on the meaning behind these two words.

💪 For one student, WORTH IT means working hard for something you truly want. Putting in the time, effort, and dedication to turn your goals into reality, knowing that some things have to be earned.

❤️ For another, WORTH IT is all about value. Whether something is material, physical, emotional, or symbolic, what makes it WORTH IT is the meaning and importance it holds to you.

📚 One student shared a personal experience from his senior year, when he had to interview 100 people throughout his town. What started as a difficult challenge pushed him outside his comfort zone, taught him how to approach strangers, and ultimately helped save his GPA. A challenging experience that became WORTH IT because of what he accomplished and learned along the way.

💭 Another student reflected on her experience with her high school dance team. As someone who considers herself more introverted, she challenged herself to open up and build stronger connections with her teammates. A reminder that sometimes stepping outside your comfort zone can lead to meaningful personal growth.

Hard work. Value. Perseverance. Personal growth.

Sometimes WORTH IT is about achieving something you’ve worked tirelessly for. Other times, it’s about overcoming a challenge, recognizing what matters to you, or finding the courage to try something new.

Every experience has its own meaning, and every person has their own definition of WORTH IT.

Different people. Different perspectives. Different meanings.
One phrase. WORTH IT.™

🎤 WHAT DOES WORTH IT MEAN TO YOU? TOWSON UNIVERSITY EDITION 🐯❤️

We’re back at Towson University with the WORTH IT™ mic, asking the same question:

“What does the phrase WORTH IT mean to you?”

And this time, the answers reminded us of the importance of the people around us and appreciating the life we get to live.

❤️ For several students, WORTH IT comes down to the people who mean the most to them. Whether it’s their siblings, family, or friends, these are the people who bring happiness, support, and meaning into their lives.

🌎 For another student, WORTH IT is about enjoying life and making the most of every moment. Appreciating the experiences, opportunities, and little things that make each day special.

Sometimes, WORTH IT isn’t about a goal you’re chasing or something you’re working toward. Sometimes, it’s about recognizing the value in what you already have.

The people who love you. The memories you create. The life you get to experience.

Different people. Different perspectives. Different meanings.

🎤 WHAT DOES WORTH IT MEAN TO YOU? AMERICAN UNIVERSITY EDITION ❤️💙

We brought the WORTH IT™ mic to American University and asked one simple question:

“What does the phrase WORTH IT mean to you?”

And once again, every answer gave us a different perspective on what makes something truly WORTH IT.

💭 For one student, WORTH IT means spending your time doing something you genuinely enjoy, something you value and believe is worth your time and energy.

❤️ For another, WORTH IT is something you’re willing to sacrifice for. Something that means so much to you that it becomes your whole world.

💪 One student described WORTH IT as the satisfaction that comes from seeing all your hard work pay off. The blood, sweat, and tears, the countless hours of effort, and finally watching everything come together the way you envisioned.

🔥 And for another, the answer was simple: doing something you’re passionate about.

Passion. Sacrifice. Dedication. Fulfillment.

Sometimes WORTH IT is about the journey. Sometimes it’s about the sacrifices you make along the way. And sometimes, it’s about that moment when you realize everything you’ve worked toward has finally come together.

No matter how you define it, WORTH IT is about recognizing the value in what matters most to you.

Different people. Different perspectives. Different meanings.

🎤 WHAT DOES WORTH IT MEAN TO YOU? HOWARD UNIVERSITY WARDEN CLASSIC EDITION ❤️💙

“We have one mission and one goal today. We’re asking everybody, what does the phrase WORTH IT mean to you?”

Farai took the WORTH IT™ mic to the Warden Classic at Howard University, and once again, every answer brought a different perspective.

👑 Miles Franicisque, the current Mr. Howard University and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., shared that WORTH IT means taking a risk. It means putting yourself out there without feeling bad about it, embracing the opportunities in front of you, and being willing to take that chance because you know it could be WORTH IT.

💭 For someone else, WORTH IT is something you’re willing to wake up for and willing to sacrifice for.

❤️ And for another, it means being willing to put everything you’ve got into it.

Taking the risk. Making the sacrifice. Giving it everything you have.

Because sometimes, knowing something is WORTH IT is exactly what gives you the courage to go after it.

Different people. Different perspectives. Different meanings.

“Pushing past your limits for a purpose bigger than yourself, that’s what keeps me driven, and that’s what makes this whole journey WORTH IT.”

For Malachi, all the hours on the field are about more than a stat line or a win. ⚽️

His goal is to take soccer as far as he can, while keeping God at the center of everything he does. Through every sprint, every setback, and every victory, Malachi wants to use his gift to inspire the next person and give credit back to God.

That bigger purpose is what gives every drill, every practice, and every moment meaning.

That’s what makes it WORTH IT by @boogsapparel

🎤 WHAT DOES WORTH IT MEAN TO YOU? TOWSON UNIVERSITY EDITION 🐯

We brought the WORTH IT™ mic to Towson University and asked one question:

“What does the phrase WORTH IT mean to you?”

And once again, the answers showed just how many different meanings two words can hold.

❤️ For one student, it’s family and the people who helped him get where he is today. They’re part of the reason he works hard, studies hard, and keeps pushing forward.

🌎 For another, simply being alive is WORTH IT. Being able to breathe, wake up, and experience another day is something worth appreciating.

🏊 For one student athlete, WORTH IT means passion. His passion is swimming, and pursuing something he loves makes the work behind it WORTH IT.

🤞 For another, it’s the friends and family who make life meaningful.

🙏 And for one student, the answer was simple: God is WORTH IT.

Family. Life. Passion. Friendship. Faith.

Different people will always have different answers, and that’s what makes this question special. WORTH IT can be the people you love, what you believe in, what you’re working toward, or simply appreciating the fact that you’re here.

Different people. Different perspectives. Different meanings.

What does WORTH IT mean to YOU? 👇 by @boogsapparel

Three months postpartum, Trinity describes pregnancy and postpartum as “one of the most brutal experiences” of her life.
Your body changes. Your sense of self changes. Nothing feels the same. It can be painful, scary, and overwhelming, leaving you feeling like your “bucket is empty.”

But through it all, Trinity has found something greater: purpose. She calls motherhood one of the most fulfilling and joyful experiences of her life.

Through the screams, sleepless nights, and sacrifices, there is nothing more WORTH IT to her than giving what she has for her baby. ❤️

And with that, Trinity had a baby to get to 😂
Follow her at @trinitymarietalks.

This is Trinity’s WORTH IT Story.

What’s yours?

All the pain, anxiety, guilt, responsibility, and stress that motherhood brings—it’s worth it.

I believe that without a doubt.

Becoming a mom was not something I could see myself doing. I grew up an only child, raised around cousins but interacting mostly with adults. I knew I wanted kids but I couldn’t see myself with a baby. In highschool I was always insecure that “being a mom” wasn’t my answer to “what do you want to do when you grew up”. It was something I prayed for, for a while, through dating Thomas, early marriage, I constantly prayed for the desire to be a mom and have a baby. Safe to say that desire came and I’m so fulfilled, grateful, and filled with joy.

Becoming a mother brings a kind of love, compassion, and strength like nothing else. There is nothing more meaningful than having a child and getting to experience this kind of love.

There is nothing more worth it to me than being there for my baby boy, whatever it takes.🤍

🎤 WHAT DOES WORTH IT MEAN TO YOU? HOWARD UNIVERSITY EDITION ❤️💙

We’re back at Howard University asking the same question:

“What does the phrase WORTH IT mean to you?”
And once again, every answer brings a different perspective.

💭 For one student, WORTH IT means moving with intention, giving your full effort and doing things to the best of your ability because you believe what you’re working toward will be WORTH IT in the end.

❤️ For another, it starts from within. Being WORTH IT isn’t about needing validation from other people. It’s about recognizing your own value, believing in yourself, and knowing you can accomplish whatever you put your mind to.

And sometimes, the answer can be as simple as:
“It’s something you value.”

Some answers are long. Some are short. Some make you think. Others are beautifully simple.
That’s the point.

WORTH IT means something different to everyone, but there’s positivity behind every answer.

Different people. Different perspectives. Different meanings.

🎤 WHAT DOES WORTH IT MEAN TO YOU? — HOWARD UNIVERSITY EDITION ❤️💙

We took the WORTH IT™ mic to Howard University during the first week of classes and asked one simple question:

“What does the phrase WORTH IT mean to you?”

And the answers reminded us exactly why we started this series.

🏀 Howard Women’s Basketball Associate Head Coach Davis shared: “If you’re living your life, it’s your life to live. Whatever you’re doing, it should be WORTH IT.” He also reminds his players that you are what you do.

For someone else, WORTH IT is an affirmation: “I am WORTH IT.”

And for another, it means putting everything you have into something you’re passionate about and seeing the success that comes from that effort.

Different people. Different journeys. Different answers.
But one phrase that can mean something to everybody.

This is just the beginning. We’re taking this question to campuses, communities, and people everywhere because we want to hear what WORTH IT means to YOU. 🎤
