PEAK visuals appreciation ✨ 🪽 shoutout to our creative team who helped bring our vision to life: something ethereal, sci-fi, nostalgic, & vibrant, amidst a digital wasteland. we chose the backdrop of our PEAK shoot to be an E-Waste center that housed thousands of obsolete technological artifacts, because we wanted to create something magical in a graveyard of relics that were once peak innovation. as we are all grappling with the rise of AI art & music, we are proud to say that this album & it’s visual components, have been woven together by many human hands & beautiful souls:

creative director: Lauren Dunn @laurenelizadunn
director+DP+editor: Austin Winchell @acewinch
Production design: Ana Coccioletti @awnah
Lighting Design: Byron Nickelberry @bnickelberry
Lighting assistant: Austin Durant @austin.durant
Color: Zoe Lambert @silverlakecowgirl

So it seems like France has decided to remake Les Miserables with hundreds of thousands of people taking to the streets despite horrific cases of police brutality to protest the rising cost of living. Beginning in the poor northern suburbs of Paris the movement has spread to the entire country with the Gilet Jaunes dusting off their high-vis in solidarity with the student movement. And now there are signs that the demand for change is spreading right across Europe with protests spreading from Lisbon to Milan. Are we on the cusp of a societal change where we stop allowing billionaires to exist and build flying cars? We can only hope.

Siapa sangka, konsert yang lagunya jarang saya dengar boleh memberi pengalaman yang begitu bermakna? Ini kali pertama saya menonton konsert muzik tradisional. Tarian Melayu pun kali terakhir saya pelajari ketika sekolah rendah. Namun melihat TM Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil dipenuhi rakyat Malaysia terutama anak muda yang begitu seronok meraikan warisan budaya kita, memang menggembirakan.
