This book is a game changer! It’s so easy to get caught up in the exaggerated dramas of the moment. The endless news cycles. Social media. Personal problems. The things that consume our attention and seem so important today but might not even matter a year from now.

We can become so absorbed in these things that we lose sight of just how extraordinary life really is.

What I appreciate about this book is how it pushes us to get outside of ourselves. To look beyond the noise, regain a sense of wonder, and recognize that there is so much more to life than whatever happens to be occupying our attention at the moment.

Sometimes we need a reminder to look up, take in the world around us, and appreciate the life we’re fortunate enough to be living.

I’m still early in the book, but it’s already changing the way I look at things.

Every dollar you donate here, we will match.

Your donation to @everytown helps prevent future school shootings by teaching families how to keep guns out of children’s hands, advocating for background checks & secure-storage laws, and supporting survivors and students who are working to make their schools safer.

As a Mom, I feel like I’m running to find a solution before this reaches my kids. I would never forgive myself if I felt like I wasn’t brave enough to use my platform to talk about it enough. To raise enough money. To change enough minds. Before it happens at home. Because it can happen anywhere (in the US).

For all of our kids, let’s push back.

This is one way we can help. I hope you’ll help us move the needle just a little bit more.

Together with former Thunderbirds pilot Mace Curran (@mace_curran) and epidemiologist and public health expert Jessica Malaty Rivera (@jessicamalatyrivera) we will match funds up to $15000.
