Sometimes things feel like this: green lush and sweaty. in the morning dew beads form on the leaf as they do on the ceiling of the club and the roof of your mouth. wet things looking back at each other immovable from the grain of salt. a fog of feelings october has already taken from place and time. chirp chirp, don’t grow old, don’t be bizarre, don’t be foreign. we took a long ride there but a shorter one back. I want to be buried in all things real warm and wet. but to dig a hole is to not look back and soon anyway be covered in a blanket of white. so don’t call and say another year, forty bands stand in your way
