🎊Ladies and gentlemen, we’re proud to announce that our all-new “NIGHTSHADE hood” is nearly complete and will be available for all generations of the 3S. It took some time, but every detail has been carefully handcrafted, with special attention to symmetry, precision, and overall fitment.

The NIGHTSHADE hood combines an aggressive, modern design with functional airflow, featuring a raised central hump, sculpted contours, and a combination of curved and straight lines that perfectly complement your 3S.

Lightweight construction: Only 27 lbs in fiberglass, compared to the 53 lb OEM hood from the first generation.

Raised central hump: Approximately 2” tall, designed to provide engine-bay clearance without interfering with engine components.

Six central vents: Designed to improve airflow and help extract hot air from the engine bay. Each vent features a different opening size and frame thickness for structural support:

Front vents (2): 2” openings with 1/4” frames.
Middle vents (2): 1½” openings with 3/8” frames.
Rear vents (2): 1” openings with 1/8” frames.

Functional side vents: Optional functionality allows additional airflow from outside the engine bay. The rearmost vents section can also be perforated to function as a scoop, helping direct fresh air into the engine bay and improving hot-air extraction.

Rear vent clearance: The vents behind the small side vents are designed to clear the shock absorb sensor covers without interference.

Lightweight underside: A stripped-down, “naked” design helps reduce overall weight while maintaining the hood’s functional structure.

OEM-style steel latch: The hood includes a steel latch similar to the OEM design, allowing you to keep it securely closed without requiring additional latching hardware.
