Pisces has a soft spot for a man who makes life feel a little easier, someone who takes care of the little things without making them feel guilty for needing anything. They might act independent and insist they can handle everything themselves, but deep down, they love being around someone who makes them feel safe enough to stop being so strong all the time. Pisces is naturally romantic, and it's not always about expensive gifts or grand gestures. It's about the feeling behind the action. A man who remembers what they like, checks if they've eaten, makes plans without leaving them to figure everything out, and follows through on what he says will always stand out. They love someone who makes their intentions obvious because Pisces can spend hours overthinking the smallest changes in someone's energy. They don't want to keep wondering if they're wanted, if they're asking for too much, or if they're the only ones putting effort into the connection. And yes, Pisces can be a little delusional when they like someone, but they become surprisingly observant when they realize a person isn't treating them the way they deserve. They want affection, reassurance, consistency, and a love that feels generous without having to beg for it. Pisces doesn't want to feel spoiled just for the sake of it, they want to feel so genuinely loved that receiving care no longer feels like asking for too much. 🥹💗🐠

Neighbors, this is funny as hell! An 18-year-old detention deputy in Bexar County, Texas, has been fired after photos surfaced showing her posing with jail inmates and throwing up the middle finger while on duty. Karla Beltran had barely been on the job for three months before this.
_______
The photos show Beltran sitting in front of a window separating her from an inmate holding area, with several inmates posing behind the glass. In one picture, she raises her middle finger toward the camera as the inmates pose with her. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Beltran, who started working July 1, was terminated Monday, October 12, under its probationary dismissal policy.
_______
Authorities say they’re still investigating who took the pictures, how they were taken, and where they were posted. Since Beltran was still within her one-year probationary period, she could be fired immediately without the right to appeal. The sheriff’s office confirmed that no criminal charges are pending in connection with the incident. Just over 100 days on the job, and now sis got her badge snatched! At least the inmates seemed to like her!

Race Report: Kodiak 100

SATISFY Pro Athlete @woah_max took third overall at the Kodiak 100 this weekend in 18:15:45. The race loops the whole of Big Bear Valley in California’s San Bernardino Mountains: nearly 16,000 feet of climbing, with much of the distance above 7,000 feet.

Kodiak started at 1 p.m. Friday, and with more than twelve hours between sunset and sunrise, the sharp end of the field raced most of it by headlamp. The route picked up the Pacific Crest Trail through Holcomb Valley, then dropped into high desert, where pines give way to Joshua trees. Sugarloaf came late, and Max crested the roof of the course, almost 10,000 feet up, in the middle of the night.

His wife crewed, and for the first time in his career, so did his sister. At Kodiak, that meant hitching shuttles out to a few remote stations and a half-mile hike each way into Sugarloaf, in the dark, after the aid station moved to protect a sensitive species.

Max hustled up the final climb to Snow Summit, then down Going Green to the Village a little after seven on Saturday morning. Big Bear, big heart: he crossed the line already celebrating the two runners ahead of him. “I’m so happy for Cody and Alex.”

The podium doesn’t show how far Max’s race strayed from the plan. Whole stretches went to damage control and plain discomfort, hauling burdens through the night. Yet more proof of perseverance found in the unglamorous truths of a hundred miles.

Third place punches his ticket to next year’s UTMB, so it seems the family business is headed the long way around Mont Blanc. Congratulations, and see you in Chamonix, Max!

The yard lines were going through it 😭 Winston-Salem State’s grounds crew spray-painted the field without a stencil or measuring, leaving the lines crooked. The university has since added extra field prep support and new quality checks.
