A very eventful day at Little Sugar! Started off the day with my best 1 minute power this year which wasn’t a smart decision. I was able to recover a bit and then got towed around by @griffin.hoppin for about 2 hours. Eventually I got dropped and then found myself riding with @kashsteele for a while. Just before feed 2 we made a wrong turn which ended up shortening the course. We realized this after the race was over and made the decision to be honest and let the race organizers know our mistake which felt like the right thing to do. They made their decision and issued a time penalty.

I’ve been fortunate enough to find myself back in the position of the leaders jersey for U23. We’ll see what happens on Saturday at Big Sugar but I’ll do my best to maintain my position!
