As part of Applied Learning Week (ALW), members of the Thames International community attended the ASEAN Youth Entrepreneurship Summit (AYES) 2026 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, joining young entrepreneurs, leaders, advocates, and partners for an afternoon of learning, meaningful conversations, and inspiration.
Applied Learning Week provides students with opportunities to step beyond the classroom through off-campus events and activities, allowing them to connect academic concepts with real-world experiences. At AYES 2026, attendees gained exposure to discussions and initiatives focused on youth entrepreneurship, innovation, and collaboration across Southeast Asia.
One of the summit’s highlights was the launch of the ASEAN Youth Entrepreneurs Action Agenda, which aims to strengthen opportunities, partnerships, and support for the region’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
Through experiences like AYES 2026, Thames International continues to encourage experiential learning, giving students opportunities to broaden their perspectives and explore how entrepreneurship and innovation can shape their future careers.
