This is my version of the Perla Jacket by Claudia Quintanilla @eweknitto , from her new book Threads of Memory - Knitting with meaning. The English version is now available, so I can finally share this pre-knit with you! I knew I wanted a sleeveless version because I had this whole outfit planned in my head. And since I wanted to style it as a vest, I replaced the zipper with a double-knitted button band. Sometimes you just have to make a pattern work for the look you’re after, right? For the yarn, I used Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino held together with Soft Silk Mohair, both in Limestone. And of course, I couldn’t just show you the vest on its own… you know by now that I need to style the whole outfit! ☺️ Denim-on-denim, a little neck scarf, and a pop of red. I love how it all came together, a little Parisian chic.
