Ep.7 - The Ancient Order of the Oaks of Santo Pietro
In this episode, we explore the workshop dedicated to the Ancient Order of the Oaks of Santo Pietro, a research project by Fabio Ciaravella investigating the possibility of a hidden order within the woods, believed to date back over a thousand years.
Through oral histories, historical documents, walks and mapping, the research traces possible connections between the woods and the city of Caltagirone, exploring the layers and interweaving of local culture across past and present.
A journey through history, hypotheses and collective memory, uncovering the stories held within the landscape.
Special thanks to @fabiociaravella , Liliana Adamo and to all the workshop participants.
