๐โ๏ธ Thailandโs Queen Suthida made aviation history on October 8 by completing a 41-minute solo flight in a Swedish-built JAS 39C Gripen fighter jet at Royal Thai Air Force Wing 7.
The 48-year-old former flight attendant has logged over 1,188 flight hours since 2010 and completed extensive training before the flight.
Her husband, King Maha Vajiralongkorn, watched from the airbase and presented her with flowers and a Golden Gripen Order patch after landing.
She is now Thailandโs first female Gripen pilot.
