Willow Mae Viorse sure does. A photography major spiraling into her final semester of college, “Mae” finds herself interning at Evermore Studios to gain experience in the concert scene, and first-hand experience working alongside bands, all before she attempts to leave the city at the end of her education. And everything changes, for better or for worse, when she gets paired alongside Astor Heart, pop punk lead singer of the band BLACKHEART. Astor Heart has just dragged his three best friends with him to Philadelphia for a second chance, with the promise of a new album by the end of the summer. Plagued in the darkness of writer’s block with no inspiration, Astor sets his eyes on Willow Mae, whose inner light begins to inspire his musical writing. Mae attempts to not let the tattooed-covered bachelor get under her skin. But as his sweet words turn her world upside down, She tries not to let her goal of graduating and leaving the city go, no matter how many times fate pulls her and Astor together, and certainly not as Astor pushes her to pursue her true passion: becoming a singer.
