It was my absolute pleasure to bring Kid Rex To The Rescue to the @bbbookfestival alongside my fantastic illustrator @creativedewen who brought a real life (handmade!) King Dust Bunny with her!!
It felt so important to be at an event where Black Readers turned up in their numbers and showed how much hunger there is for our stories especially at a time when data seems to show representation in publishing is sliding backwards.
Hope to be back again soon #BBBF26
