I’ve lived abroad for 4 years and the feelings are.. complicated..

living abroad is a funny combination of feeling like you don’t actually fit in anywhere, loving where you are, but also having your heart tubed on memories of other places around the world. When I’m in Europe, I miss the US and when I’m in the USA of Europe. I’ve lived so many different lives and have experienced so many different versions of myself but now I feel like I’m always seeking the perfect place to experience all of them (it doesn’t exist). I feel like moving abroad is super romanticized on social media right now so I just wanna remind you:

Wherever you go there, you are

Love needs nourishment. 🌸

Skandamata, the mother of Lord Skanda, represents a mother’s love, care, and strength. Her story reminds us that love is not just about creating something beautiful; it’s about nurturing it, protecting it, and helping it grow.

For this look, I took inspiration from the lotus associated with Skandamata, pairing soft pink tones with a white dupatta to create a look that reflects the gentler side of motherhood.

Because creation is only the beginning. What you love will ask for your time, patience, tolerance, and commitment. Whether it’s a dream, a relationship, or a part of yourself, if you want something to grow, you have to keep showing up for it.

Love isn’t just what you create. It’s what you continue to nurture. 🪷
