8 hours agoSo I've lived in Clermont for almost 20 years. It was much more natural in the past. It is growing too fast now. The downtown is getting better as it revitalizes, but it doesn't have really cool old historic buildings with gorgeous architecture. I long to have a downtown like Mount Dora.
12 hours agoClermont come on maybe before all the developments came in if we’re talking 2010 sure
14 hours agoAh yes, every house on the rolling hills looking exactly the same looking like the monochrome slums of Colombia. Maybe if developers had left it alone this would be true.
17 hours ago🎙️WINTER PARK. The OG. Baldwin Park is OK and Thornton / North of Lake Eola are pretty too. 🌳 but Windermere driving by is lovely. Also not sure I’d be happy there today. Used to live in Dr. Phillips but I don’t think I’d would like it now (pre TJs!!) hello👋 from WA. If you want some real mountains 🏔️ 🌲 hop on ~6 hour flight from MCO
18 hours agoClermont was once very beautiful. It's now turning into a sea of homes thanks to developers. Always about $, not longevity. What was once pretty hills filled with groves, trees and greenery is now leveled out dirt in preparation for a sea of homes to go up. Not just in Clermont either, but beautiful surrounding areas like Minneola as well.
19 hours agoWinter Park is the OG they knew it way back when and it applies today. In Lake county Mt Dora over Clermont sprawl any day!!
a day agoI literally live in Clermont and drove to Winter Park multiple times for work. Winter Park sucks, their streets are terrible and the traffic is God awful.🔥🔥🔥
a day agoThe vast majority of Orlando and its metro area is aesthetically uninspiring to be polite
