an hour agoNo leash no harness - this cat is scared & instincts would make them run.
3 hours agoAlways request a private screening room. I’ve traveled with my cat many times and it’s a breeze. It’s so much safer and less stressful for the cat.
3 hours agoYou don't have to do this. You can ask to go into a screening room. Been there done that.

8 hours agoGet a harness, and request a private screening. TSA at this point should just get anyone traveling with a cat a quick, private screening. One of the main issues I continually encounter when I’ve travel with cats are TSA workers whining about how “allergic” they are to cats or say they don’t like cats and refuse help and it takes forever to get an associate who will. All they have to do is escort you to a room and they take the carrier back around for screening while a worker asks questions about the cat and quickly looks at it. @tsa this should be in your training requirements for better assistance to prevent pet loss, injuries and more to anyone traveling with a pet. Ps… add an extra 45 min in case you have to stand and wait for assistance 😂
