🎬Alice in Borderland is a gripping Japanese sci-fi thriller series that follows Arisu, an aimless, video-game-obsessed young man who suddenly finds himself and his friends transported into a deserted, parallel version of Tokyo. In this deadly realm, the inhabitants are forced to participate in a series of high-stakes, life-or-death games dictated by playing cards, where surviving a game extends their "visas" by a few days, and failure means instant execution.

As Arisu navigates this brutal psychological arena, he teams up with a skilled climber named Usagi to uncover the dark mastermind behind the games, decode the mysteries of the Borderland, and find a way back to the real world.

Arisu and usagi share a profound, emotionally grounding bond that evolves from a survival partnership into a deep romantic connection over the course of the deadly trials. Initially brought together by contrasting strengths-Arisu's sharp analytical intellect for psychological and tactical games, and Usagi's incredible physical endurance and survival instincts-they quickly become each other's greatest anchors in a world designed to break their spirits. Their relationship is tested by profound grief, trauma, and despair, particularly as they witness the horrors of the games, but they continuously pull each other back from the brink of giving up.
