Some colours are worn; others tell stories. In Edo, red is a beautiful expression of heritage, royalty, and cultural pride, The colour red spoke volumes,I just couldn't ignore.

Finger-woven bandoliers and sashes were common throughout the Southeast, but those made from red wool trade cloth and decorated with bead embroidery in geometric designs are most frequently associated with the Choctaw, Alabama, and Coushatta. The scroll designs on these distinctive shoulder sashes are often said to resemble those found on early southeastern pottery.

Worn by a Kickapoo woman on a special occasion, this hourglass-shaped hair ornament with a silk ribbon trailer was attached to the back of a long braid gathered behind the head.

Inside the spin, a hidden twin.
It crawls deep in. Let the hunt begin.

A scratching sound behind the door,
It drags its feet across the floor.

You think it's soft, a silent foster,
A twisted thread, a dark imposter...

It is the Sock Monster! 👁
