🎶 Mama said there’d be days like this… and yesterday was definitely one of THOSE days! 🤦‍♀️😂

Some days the weights feel heavier, the movements feel harder, and nothing seems to go quite the way I planned. Then there are those moments when I surprise myself and think… okay, I’ve still got it! 💪

The funny thing about being 61 is that my mind still expects my body to perform like it did at 27. And honestly, I’m not sure that expectation will ever go away.

I still want more. I still expect more. And I still get frustrated when I fall short of what I KNOW I’m capable of.

But here’s what I’m learning… Not every training day has to be a great day to be a day worth showing up for.

Some days you crush it. Some days you just get through it. And some days you get a little of both.

Grateful for my @blacklisted.hq crew and @kylespears90 who keep challenging me, pushing me, and reminding me that progress isn’t always pretty.

At 61, I’m still learning, still working, and still chasing better. The expectations may be high, but so is the determination.

And I’m not done yet. 🇺🇸💪

These are the hills I will die on, and every one of them came from my own labs and the women I work with every week.

I was told my labs were normal. I was told to cut carbs. I was told we’d just watch it. None of that was a plan.

So I stopped waiting and figured it out myself. My fasting insulin went from 13 to 6, and seven years later my labs are still normal with no medication. I still eat sourdough, pasta, and potatoes every single day.

If you’ve been told you’re fine and you know you’re not, the last slide is for you.

Comment CLASS and I’ll send you the link to my live masterclass.
