Technically Keenan's try isn't a grubber kick as it rises off his boot and doesn't travel low / roll across the ground. Great try from Hugo and selection of tries. We actually had out Under 18 girls practicing grubber kicks at last nights training here in Dubai at the Dubai Sharks.

I remember dropping one onto my left in the white hot heat of the 1995 south munster minor A quarter final at the mardyke, It was just before I ran out over the touch line by the stand, playing down to the river end in the first half. It flighted beautifully into the corner and bounced a couple of times before tadhg creedon landed on it for a great score. I'd been practising it quite a bit, but had never tried in a match. Like Keenan there, I side footed it to keep it simple. Never forget that feeling as he grounded it. Minor A cup quarter final, UCC 21 v 5 Highfield, Mardyke 1995.
