2026 has truly been a JOURNEY! This year has been such an eye-opener for me. Just when everything was starting to look up in my career, I got hurt. I fell into a state of depression because I genuinely thought all my opportunities, aspirations, and the career I was building were over. 💔
Hearing the doctor tell me that I would never recover to 100% and would never be able to fully run again was something I struggled to accept. But through God, prayer, the love and support of my new family and friends, and therapy, I was reminded that I was never alone. 🙏🏿🤎
From February until now, I have overcome so much, and although I am still a work in progress, I am grateful for every step forward, every lesson learned, and every bit of strength I have gained along the way.
This journey has taught me that even when life doesn’t go as planned, God is still present. Sometimes, the very moments we think will break us become the moments that build us into who we are meant to be.
Father God, THANK YOU! Thank You for carrying me through the moments when I felt weak, for giving me strength when I wanted to give up, and for surrounding me with people who reminded me that I wasn’t alone. Thank You for everything You have allowed me to overcome and for the progress I continue to make.
My journey isn’t over, and neither is my story. One day at a time, one prayer at a time, and one step at a time. GOD GETS ALL THE GLORY! 🙇🏿‍♂️🙏🏿👏🏿🙌🏿
