Art Studio Gabriela Herma, in via Bonporti 26, Padova.

“I don’t ask how much time I have left. I ask what my time is for.”

For KOMUZADONI, Raquel Palis offers a deeply personal reflection on the female body, motherhood and the expectations that shape a woman’s life.

A cage, an hourglass and imprints of her body, made on paper with her own menstrual blood, express a desire to reclaim her time and the freedom to decide how to live it.

Raquel is a Brazilian artist who lives and works in Barcelona. Her practice combines sculpture, installation and digital technologies to explore the body, memory and identity.

Her works on paper, in A4 format (21 × 29.7 cm, plus frame), are on view and available for purchase at Art Studio Gabriela Herma, Via Bonporti 26, Padua, Italy.
