White Stork Project

Talking storks in Paris!

This month, the White Stork Project team travelled to Paris alongside our key partners at Cotswold Wildlife Park for the EAZA Annual Conference!

Bringing together zoological organisations from across Europe, the conference is an exciting opportunity to share knowledge, discuss current conservation challenges and strengthen collaborations.

Cotswold Wildlife Park is central to the White Stork Project’s work, breeding and rearing white storks for release as we work to establish a population in Britain. Attending the conference together gave us the chance to share our progress, exchange ideas with other European zoos and explore how collaboration strengthens conservation efforts.

Working with our partners and sharing ideas with other European zoos helps us learn from one another and other zoological and conservation bodies acorss Europe to continue improving our work together. Thank you to EAZA for hosting this inspirational event!
