Winning 😆💪🏼 Comment SHOPPING LIST for everything I used Here’s exactly how we did it! Save this for when you’re ready to tackle your own 👇🏼 1. Order everything on the shopping list 🛒 Comment SHOPPING LIST and I’ll send you everything you need to recreate these! 2. Fit your mid-rail pole Use your bracket to mark your fixing points, then drill small pilot holes into the wood. Screw your brackets into place on the left and right. 3. Attach your pole Unscrew the clasp from one side of your pole so you only have one clasp attached to the bracket. Use a laser level to make sure everything is straight, or a manual spirit level if you don’t have one. 4. Choose your curtains carefully! I bought mine from Dunelm, but my mum said they were an absolute B-I-T-C-H to work with because the fabric is so delicate 😂 Which is exactly why I love them! If you haven’t got a professional on the job, you might want to opt for a slightly easier fabric. 5. Work out your curtain measurements The specific curtains I chose only came in one width, so I used ChatGPT to calculate the ratios needed for my different window sizes. You can watch the video back and screenshot the prompt I used to work it out! 6. Fit your bottom rail Once the top rail is in place, fit your bottom rail so you can work out exactly how long each curtain needs to be, including the drop and hem. This is why it helps to get your rails fitted before finalising your curtain measurements. 7. Cut your poles to size You’ll need a hacksaw to cut your poles to the correct width. The shop I bought mine from actually offers to cut them to size, but I was too scared to get them to do it, so I tackled it myself at home. Honestly, it was really easy! 8. Thread and hang your curtains Once your curtains arrive, thread the poles through the top and bottom hems, then attach the rails to your brackets on the window.
