Kyhla’s Journey | A New Beginning

With my Starbucks coffee in hand, I stepped outside to enjoy some fresh air and a quiet moment to myself. As I stood there overlooking the beautiful farm life my mother had created for herself, I couldn’t help but admire how much she’d accomplished while I was away. My mind slowly wandered to my own life, the decisions I’ve made, and everything I need to do to get Jade and myself back on track. I know rebuilding won’t happen overnight, but I’m determined to find my footing, regain my independence, and create the stability and happiness we both deserve.

As I continued taking in the peaceful scenery, I remembered that my two horses would be arriving tomorrow from the ranch back where I used to live. Knowing they’d soon be here brought me a sense of comfort and excitement. No matter how much my life was changing, having them close again would bring a little piece of my old life into this new chapter.

Standing there surrounded by nothing but peace, I realized something—my mother had built a life she could be proud of, and now it was time for me to do the same. I’m not where I want to be just yet, but I’m exactly where I need to be to begin again. This time, I’m not just rebuilding my life; I’m creating a future where Jade and I can truly thrive. 💜✨
