🏡🤎 PART 7 | HOME SWEET HOME
Some moves are better made in silence.

📍 Hamilton, Montana | Our New Home 🏡

WE FINALLY DID IT! 🥹🔑🤎

Remember those papers I was signing? Well… SURPRISE! 🤭

After months of planning, waiting, and plenty of stress, our land is officially ours, and our house is FINALLY complete! 🏡🤎

This journey began long before Jade and I moved back to Montana. I was quietly planning something permanent—something that would be OURS. Moving back home was only another chapter while I worked toward the next one.

And now here we are: six acres, a beautiful home, and a fresh start for me and my baby girl. 🤎

We’re settled in, and the inside is mostly decorated, but with Christmas approaching, I paused the decorating for something even more important:

THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS! 🎄✨

I hired a professional lighting company to install beautiful icicle lights along the roofline. Seeing our very first Christmas lights go up on OUR home was such a small but meaningful moment. 🥹

A few months ago, Jade and I were moving back into my childhood home. Now we’re making memories in a place I worked so hard to create.

There’s still landscaping and decorating to finish, but for now, I’m grateful for the process, the patience, and the chance to give my little girl a beautiful place to grow up.

New land. New home. New memories. Same determination. 🤎🔑

And knowing Jade, she’ll think Santa personally built this house for her. 😭😂🎅🏽

Home sweet home, baby girl. We made it. 🏡🤎

🎄 LET’S TALK ABOUT IT!

Are you decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving, or waiting until December? 👀😂

Because clearly, Kyhla isn’t waiting on ANYBODY! 🎄✨ by @bigpressureeee

✨ KYHLA’S JOURNEY | PART 006 ✨

MOVES MADE IN SILENCE 🖊️🤎

It’s only been a few weeks since Jade and I packed up our lives and moved back home, and while I’ve been taking the time to settle in, there’s been a whole lot happening behind closed doors.

One thing about me, I’ve always been the type to sit back, observe, and put things into perspective before making my next move. I don’t always speak on my plans, and I definitely don’t feel the need to announce every decision I’m making. Sometimes you have to keep certain things between you, God, and the people involved until the time is right.

These past few weeks have been filled with phone calls, meetings, paperwork, and some pretty big decisions. And today? Well, let’s just say I found myself sitting in an office, putting my signature on something that could change quite a few things for me and my baby girl. 👀🖊️

I won’t get into too many details just yet because some things are better left unsaid until everything falls into place. But what I will say is that moving back home was never about starting over with nothing. It was about giving myself the space to figure out exactly what I wanted my next chapter to look like.

And trust me, I’ve been doing just that.

I’ve learned that you don’t have to make noise to make moves. Sometimes the biggest decisions of your life are made quietly, behind closed doors, while the rest of the world has absolutely no idea. 🤎

For now, the ink is dry, the paperwork is signed, and I’m keeping the rest to myself.

Just know… something is coming. 🤫✨ by @bigpressureeee

💜 PART 4: FINDING MY WAY BACK 🏡🍿

Kyhla’s Journey | A New Beginning

After spending most of the day driving around looking at small apartments and houses, I was honestly exhausted. I had dropped Jade off with a good friend of mine earlier that morning so I could take my time exploring different places without having to drag my baby girl from one showing to another. Some places were nice, others weren’t quite what I was looking for, but I reminded myself that I wasn’t in a rush. I wanted to make sure our next home was somewhere Jade and I could truly be comfortable and happy.

As the evening rolled around, I decided to take a break from all the house hunting and ended up attending a movie night with my son’s girlfriend’s family. It felt good to just sit back, laugh, enjoy some good company, and take my mind off everything I’d been stressing about lately. Being surrounded by family reminded me how important it was to enjoy the little moments instead of constantly worrying about what comes next.

Today reminded me that rebuilding my life doesn’t mean I have to have everything figured out overnight. I’m learning to be patient with myself, enjoy the people around me, and trust that everything will eventually fall into place. I may still be searching for the perfect place to call home, but one thing is certain—I’m finally taking the steps toward creating the life Jade and I deserve. 💜✨ by @bigpressureeee

💜 PART 3: PEACE IN THE STILLNESS ☕🌿

Kyhla’s Journey | A New Beginning

With my Starbucks coffee in hand, I stepped outside to enjoy some fresh air and a quiet moment to myself. As I stood there overlooking the beautiful farm life my mother had created for herself, I couldn’t help but admire how much she’d accomplished while I was away. My mind slowly wandered to my own life, the decisions I’ve made, and everything I need to do to get Jade and myself back on track. I know rebuilding won’t happen overnight, but I’m determined to find my footing, regain my independence, and create the stability and happiness we both deserve.

As I continued taking in the peaceful scenery, I remembered that my two horses would be arriving tomorrow from the ranch back where I used to live. Knowing they’d soon be here brought me a sense of comfort and excitement. No matter how much my life was changing, having them close again would bring a little piece of my old life into this new chapter.

Standing there surrounded by nothing but peace, I realized something—my mother had built a life she could be proud of, and now it was time for me to do the same. I’m not where I want to be just yet, but I’m exactly where I need to be to begin again. This time, I’m not just rebuilding my life; I’m creating a future where Jade and I can truly thrive. 💜✨ by @bigpressureeee

💜 PART 2: BACK TO FAMILIAR WALLS 🏡

Khyla’s Journey | A New Beginning

The next day after arriving back at my mom’s house, I found myself sitting on the edge of my old bed, looking around the room that held so many childhood memories. Everything felt familiar, but I knew I wasn’t the same woman who left years ago. As Jade played nearby, I pulled out my laptop and started searching for furniture stores in the area because it had been so long since I’d been home, and I knew things had changed, new businesses had opened, and there were probably plenty of places I had yet to discover. I started making plans for new furniture, fresh bedding, and a cozy little space just for Jade so she could feel comfortable and have a place of her own. As I sat there scrolling, I realized this was about more than redecorating a room. I was creating a fresh start for us both, turning a place filled with old memories into a space where new ones could begin. 💜✨ by @bigpressureeee

Sometimes life takes you back to where it all began so you can rediscover who you are. After facing some unexpected challenges, I’ve decided to move back home with my two-year-old daughter, Jade, to be closer to family while I figure out my next steps. I have four grown children who have built their own lives and families, and now it’s time for me to focus on finding myself again while raising my youngest. Moving back in with my mom wasn’t part of the plan, but I’m embracing this opportunity to heal, grow, and rebuild. This isn’t a setback, it’s a season of transformation. I’ve spent years being everything to everyone else, and now it’s time to rediscover the woman behind the title of Mom. I’m not starting from scratch; I’m starting from experience, and this next chapter will be written on my own terms. 💜 by @bigpressureeee
