Neighbors, a Miami jury found the NFL star Tyreek Hill liable for two counts of battery in a civil trial brought by his estranged wife, Lakeeta Vaccaro.

The jury awarded Vaccaro $500,000 in compensatory damages but did not award punitive damages. Hill was found not liable for the eight remaining claims, which included battery, assault and continuing domestic violence.

During the trial, Vaccaro testified about alleged abuse, claiming Hill pulled her hair and “treated me like I was, just, a man.” Hill denied the allegations, but acknowledged one incident in which he shoved Vaccaro and “created a hole in the wall.”

Following the verdict, Hill hugged one of his attorneys, then looked down and ran his hands through his hair, appearing stressed, before leaving the courtroom. 🎥: @lawandcrime
