Your body was never meant to be perfect.

As I reflect back on who I was and who I’ve become, I can honestly say I’m proud of the man I’ve become, and the younger version of me is also proud.

Proud of all the decisions and sacrifices I’ve made to get to this point in life that I’m at now.

Was it easy, absolutely not, if God showed me what I would go through to get here would I have still traveled down that path…honestly probably not because, my God has this been a long battle and I’ve been turned every which way but loose.

There were times I couldn’t buy my daughter diapers, I had no one to call so I figured it out.
I couldn’t pay my rent, I had no one to call, so I figured it out.
I couldn’t pay my mortgage, I had no one to call, but all in all I figured it out.
So when people sit and say they can’t do this or that, or wait on a hand out or a hand up, or don’t want to be resourceful when God has equipped them with all the resources…then that just means to them it’s not important enough to figure it out…cause when I was going through it, it was just me, God and my bills…and I was determined to not let the devil win at all!

I’ve never been able to get help or depend on anyone but myself.
My mother did her part of course, but I had to become a grown man before I even knew what it meant to be a man!

Over the years, I lost so many family members and friends, who didn’t understand my focus and my purpose that I was chasing, so I had to keep going no matter what and choose ME over them!

Through it all, if I could go back and do it all over again, I would, because God was showing me with each season that he was just preparing me for the man I am today.

So just know God will test you, he will stress you, all right before he BLESS YOU.

Because I’m currently in first class laying down on a plane ✈️ headed to China, living in times I use to pray for 🙏🏾💯

So no matter what season you are in don’t give up, make the younger you proud, and most importantly show those people who counted you out…that they can’t count!
