I’ve had a late call-up to the World Championships 🥹💛💚

After a year that has sometimes left me feeling profoundly let down and lost despite my best efforts, this opportunity means so much to me. For that, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little more nervous than usual🥹. I’ve always found comfort in meticulous preparation, so finding out so late means I haven’t quite been afforded the luxury of preparing with the specificity I usually demand of myself.

But over the past two seasons, I’ve raced more track than ever before, travelling across the world chasing the highest level races, collecting experiences to inform better tactics and become a more complete rider. There is something quite poignant about pursuing an art with no promise that it will necessarily amount to anything, but out of love for what you do ❤️

So although the road here has looked very unexpected, I don’t think it’s been by accident. Luckily I’ve also always been pretty good at doing my homework at the last minute 😉

Omnium, scratch race, team pursuit and Madison will also be my biggest world champs schedule to date. Four opportunities to join a great team and make the most of a chance I’m incredibly grateful to have. 💛💚😊

Actress #SelmaBlair was reportedly arrested following a chaotic incident aboard a #DeltaAirlines flight, during which she allegedly attacked two flight attendants and attempted to open an aircraft door mid-flight.

According to TMZ, the “Legally Blonde” star was traveling to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport on Sunday (Oct. 11) when she allegedly tried to open the plane’s door, sparking a confrontation with crew members. Blair is accused of punching one flight attendant and biting another. The New York Port Authority confirmed that two flight attendants reported injuries, with one requiring hospitalization. Blair was arrested after the plane landed and transported to a hospital for evaluation.

Her rep attributed the incident to a medical emergency, telling TMZ, “Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition.” The cause of the reported medical emergency remains unclear, and authorities have not confirmed whether Blair will face criminal charges. The #FBI is investigating the incident.

This father was completely humiliated, his face says it all. Even just saying this for shock value is disgraceful.
