“AI is stealing from us...” 🤖

Eric Weinstein questions why people should lose out financially when their knowledge and skills are used to replace them.

He compares AI to overseas labour, explaining how employers can reduce costs by replacing workers. He suggests people should be able to earn licensing fees when their skills and knowledge are used to create value.

Eric argues that AI is doing the same thing by using human knowledge without compensating the people behind it, calling it “out and out theft”.
