I wonder how many people that lost custody that way would have had their children say they wanted to live with them if theyd actually complied? On the one hand I cant imagine a parent who knows their child will "side" with them would have any issues letting said child be heard but on the other hand I cant imagine the type of person that would take a childs voice away that way would care enough to know what the child really wants

I don’t know about y’all, but earlier in my life I didn’t even realize I was on a relationship escalator. I certainly didn’t take many of those steps intentionally. But after my divorce I started to look at relationships in a new way and I realized that we have choices. We can choose to build our relationships in all different kinds of ways.
