This doesn’t mean doing more sets at a higher RIR is “wrong” if you prefer it.

But most people focus too much on simply counting total sets, and not enough on how those sets are actually executed.

Fewer sets pushed very close to the limit can often match or exceed the hypertrophy “volume” of more sets performed further from failure, even if it doesn’t look like nearly as much on paper.

P.S. If you want to learn exactly how to put this into action and build your best physique while spending less time in the gym, my complete TrainWise system gives you everything you need.

Nobody understands the struggle of looking confident while secretly having absolutely no idea what's going on better than Puss in Boots.

One minute, he's a fearless legendary swordsman who can charm anyone. The next, three tiny kittens have him questioning every decision he's ever made.

In Puss in Boots: The Three Diablos (2012), Antonio Banderas returns as the voice of everyone's favorite dramatic feline, delivering some of the most hilarious and unexpectedly relatable moments in DreamWorks Animation history.

Directed by Raman Hui, this animated short follows Puss as he attempts to recover a stolen ruby while dealing with three mischievous kittens who look completely innocent but are secretly walking disasters.

What makes Puss such an iconic character isn't just his swordsmanship, irresistible charm, or legendary confidence. It's the fact that beneath all that dramatic energy, he's basically just a cat trying to maintain his dignity while life constantly humiliates him.

The exaggerated reactions, the endless confidence, the sudden panic, and that irresistible ability to act like everything is under control when absolutely nothing is.

And somehow, he manages to make every embarrassing situation look like an important part of his heroic journey.

Because sometimes you want to be mysterious, fearless, and effortlessly cool, but your actual personality is just Puss in Boots having another unnecessarily dramatic moment.

This is exactly why his character remains one of the funniest and most lovable personalities in animated movie history.

Save this iconic Puss in Boots moment or share it with that one friend whose entire personality is basically a dramatic cat pretending to have everything figured out.
