Basil Rae

Hello friends! It’s official, I am moving to @rosebudbodyart in North Hollywood as a full time artist! I’m very excited to be joining the lovely team here and am so grateful for the opportunity they have given me!

For those who don’t know me yet, hi I’m Basil! I’m a non-binary tattoo artist creating cute, bold, and illustrative color or black and gray tattoos. I also enjoy other styles such as American/Neo traditional, stipple shaded tattoos, and more! I have lots of pre-drawn flash I’d love to tattoo and I’d love to work with you to create a custom tattoo. I am also a tarot reader who uses a variety of oracle decks along with Rider-Waite-Smith style tarot decks. I offer 10, 20, or 30 minute in person readings!

My goal is to continue creating a safe, comfortable and fun environment for everyone especially the girlies, theys, and LGBTQIA+ folks!

To all of my clients from Ventura, thank you so much for all of your continued love and support! I hope you’ll follow me to NoHo, but I know not all of you will be able to commute to North Hollywood, so I plan to do guest spots back in Ventura every so often.

A huge thank you to everyone at Cryptic Curations. I would not be here without your guidance and support. I loved my time working there and the friends I made, but the time has come for me to spread my wings and fly into a new chapter. I wish you all happiness and success 🫶

✨

My books are now open for North Hollywood, link in bio to book! I will be participating in @rosebudbodyart Halloween flash event this Saturday 10/17 and will have some of my smaller flash available starting at $75+.
It will be walk-ins only, first come first served! Hope to see you there 🎃
