Gottfrid Svartholm, co-founder of The Pirate Bay, pictured in his office.

Founded in Sweden in 2003, The Pirate Bay became one of the internet’s most notorious file-sharing sites, allowing millions to exchange movies, music, games and software for free. Its popularity brought fierce opposition from entertainment companies, which accused it of enabling copyright infringement. Police raided its servers in 2006, but the site was back online three days later. In 2009, four men connected to its operation were convicted.

Despite years of legal battles, The Pirate Bay endured as a flashpoint in the debate over internet freedom and digital ownership. To supporters, it represented open access to information and culture. To critics, it came at the expense of the people who created them.

Yesterday I was 😢… today I’m smiling. 🙏🏽

Yesterday was the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced. A gentleman took @who_is_jarvis and me for a ride in a “jet ski car” During the ride, the steering failed, and we crashed head-on FULL SPEED into the reefs. I literally saw my life flash before my eyes 😩

Two broken bones later… we made it back home safely from the Bahamas 🇧🇸 🥹🙏🏽

I’m just THANKFUL for God, My Man, & everyone who took care of us 🫶🏽

We will have story time later…. @firstclasswatersports (plz do the RIGHT THING)

Spaces and Art Losing Their Soul 💔

Once, architecture and art walked hand in hand-buildings were sculptures, details told stories, and art nourished our soul.

Today, minimalist and repetitive structures often leave both spaces and art feeling empty. Without details and creativity, neither buildings nor artworks can inspire or move us.

Do you think modern cities and art still have a soul, or has it been lost? 🙇🏻‍♂️
