Well, it finally happened. I joined Instagram. And since Danielle already took Be Free, I had no choice but to launch Be Toxic. ☠️ Is it necessary? No. Is it healthy? Absolutely not. Is it the perfect way to introduce myself to social media? Unfortunately, yes. Thank you to @daniellefishel for inspiring this incredibly questionable business venture. Excited to disappoint you all 👏😂 #BeToxic #BeFree

1. Pick one task a day and deliberately do the lowest-effort version of it, you'd be surprised how often that's enough. 2. Say no by default to anything optional for the next months. 3. Go through tomorrow’s meetings or projects at the end of each day and decline the ones you’re not actually needed in. Ask for notes/recordings instead. 4. Every morning decide what you’ll drop if the day goes badly, and then actually drop it. 5. At the end of the day, write down the one thing that went okay, when you’re burnt out you sometimes can’t remember them. 6. Every day, finish one thing completely, even a tiny one, so you’re not leaving a trail of half-done stuff. Bonus: Tell a friend or trusted colleague how you’re actually doing once a week. I made an app called Keel for exactly this. You rate your workday and tick off the habits you got through that day. It helps you do the things you know you should and after a few weeks you can see which habits have the biggest impact on your work life. Comment KEEL and I’ll send you the link to try the app 🩷 it’s also in my bio.
