The notes feel warmer, the emotions a little deeper.

Perhaps autumn asks us to speak more quietly, so we can hear ourselves more clearly.

And when I ride by the sea, I feel it again.
The cold wind moves across the shore, and the horses seem to understand the season before we do. They breathe deeper, run freer, almost finding pleasure in the cold.

Perhaps autumn is not about things fading.

Perhaps it is about becoming more sensitive to what is still here.

The flowers.
The music.
The wind against my face.
The quiet rhythm of an ordinary day.

Through all these different versions of me, PEDRO finds its place in my every day. The Hybrix suede loafer beneath my steps, the Demi Maxi shoulder bag moving with me from one moment to the next.

Because style, much like a season, does not need to announce its arrival.

Sometimes, it simply becomes part of who you are.

In a video going viral on X, Pratt called Elon Musk “the most successful African American of all time.” Let’s set the record straight.

Musk is a white man born in Pretoria, South Africa, in 1971 under apartheid. His grandfather moved the family there in 1950 and was an open supporter of apartheid. In 2024, The Washington Post reported Musk worked in the US illegally while starting his first company in the 1990s, which he denies. Tesla has faced multiple lawsuits over racism against Black workers at its California factory, and Musk has pushed “white genocide” claims about South Africa.

African American describes the descendants of enslaved Africans who built this country. Elon Musk is not that.

Thoughts? Sound off below.

I’ve been on a pretty decent run of late. But nothing lasts forever. So for #toolwatchfriday one last #NWA

The 1655 Explorer II might not be the rarest Rolex, but it’s not one that you see a lot of. Let’s face it. It’s a bit niche.

Despite that, it has been a watch that I have loved, sold, and have yearned for again.

Phone calls with @saltvintagewatches have a funny habit of seeing dreams turn to reality, and just like that, there was a new 1655 back in my life.

This is a Mk4. It’s from 1980. It’s had a polish but I don’t care. It’s utterly lovely. And it’s mine. All mine. Mwah hah hah…

Anyway, I’m pretty pleased about it. Big thanks to Stef as usual. Cheers mate 🥂
