October 13, 2026 Santa Paula, CA. Santa Paula Police Dept Station. Went in to try to talk to a supervisor about why 3 #sppd vehicles drove up, stopped, and drove away from a community member who had been assaulted with pepper spray and ignored community members actively being threatened with taser and pepper spray. The SPPD station is essentially two rooms, I could hear personnel talking in the other room, but they all cowered and hid and sent out the desk attendant. Why is the SPPD so afraid to take accountability for their actions? #accountability #publicservants #filmthepolice #venturacounty

American Newsmax journalist Rob Finnerty has apologized to Kenyans after facing backlash for comparing New York City’s poor condition to Nairobi. During a discussion about immigration, he said: “We have no idea where these people are from, they move to blue sanctuary cities and the cities start to look like Nairobi than New York.” Following criticism from Kenyans, Finnerty apologized, saying: “I want to offer an apology to the people of Nairobi, Kenya. The passion you have your city and homeland is amazing... We all make mistakes. I misspoke, and I am sorry to anyone I have offended.”
