60 feet of visibility at La Jolla Shores today. 13 years of diving in San Diego and this is the clearest water I have ever seen here. How it happened: NOAA has a strong El NiΓ±o running, and on our coast that means warm, nutrient-poor water with very little plankton. The Scripps pier sensor has been reading some of the lowest plankton levels of the month. Then 4 days of Santa Ana winds blew offshore, flattened the surface and kept every bit of runoff and chop out of the water. The last piece is luck of geography. A long-period south swell is running right now. It reads over 3 feet at the Oceanside buoy but under 2 feet off Scripps, because Point La Jolla blocks it. That is why Orange County is not getting this. Laguna and Crescent Bay face straight into that swell, the NWS has a beach hazards statement up for 3 to 6 foot surf on south-facing beaches through Tuesday morning, and the sand is in the water there. LA is in between: same clear water offshore, same swell on its south-facing beaches. Tomorrow the offshore winds end and the normal sea breeze comes back, so a glassy morning and some afternoon chop. No rain until midweek. La Jolla should hold. OC stays rough until the swell backs off Tuesday. #lajolla #sandiego #snorkeling #spearfishing #scuba
Not for nothin’, huns, but I don’t believe in bad compatibility. Every pairing of two charts is an assignment. And with Venus retrograde until Nov 13, a lot of us are revisiting old assignments. Astrology can’t promise you forever, but it can give you the story of your relationship, so you can keep writing it beautifully. If an old assignment is back on your desk this retrograde, comment RETRO for my Venus Retrograde workshop, or READING to book a reading with me.

I’d love more babies but I’m leaving it up to G-d if that happens or not. #pregnancytest
