The ocean is home to some of the most extraordinary ecosystems on Earth, but human activity is changing them in ways we are only beginning to understand. Pollution can travel thousands of miles through ocean currents, reaching even the most remote marine environments.

Every year, millions of tonnes of waste enter aquatic ecosystems, threatening marine life, disrupting food chains, and damaging fragile habitats. Over time, larger materials can break down into microscopic particles that spread throughout the environment.

Protecting our oceans starts with understanding that what we discard does not simply disappear. Our everyday choices can have consequences far beyond what we see.

HUMANS - Not sharks!!! I’ve not heard of a shark that has made species extinct and neither one of them is going to make us extinct either so yeah - HUMANS are the most dangerous animals all together , be it in ocean or on land - for sure 🦈

Let’s put the onus on corporations and deregulations from this administration, more so than everyday working people. They have the power and they can enact real change that can stop these effects.
