Regarding Real Madridโs current situation, I think Josรฉ Mourinho needs to stop showing favoritism toward certain players, whether itโs Vinicius Jr. or Mbappรฉ. For example, the TchouamรฉniโValverde midfield combination simply shouldnโt be playing together. Mourinho should have started Bernardo Silva against Roma, with Camavinga playing alongside him, especially considering the excellent performances Camavinga delivered under Zidane. Another major issue is playing Rรผdiger and Konatรฉ together at the back. Neither of them is particularly good at building up play from the back, which means someone needs to drop deep and receive the ball from them. Bernardo Silva should be the player responsible for receiving the first ball from the defenders and initiating the buildup. Then Bellingham should be the second option, receiving the ball from Bernardo Silva and progressing it forward. As for Vinicius Jr., his statistics in that match were practically all zeros. Mourinho needs to have the courage to bench him instead of constantly protecting him because of his reputation. He needs to stop these unnecessary compromises and make decisions based on performances rather than names. Mourinho should be willing to sacrifice Vinicius by putting him on the bench before he ends up sacrificing his own position for the sake of these players. Because if Real Madrid continues performing at this level, Mourinho will most likely be the first person to pay the price. Within a month or two, he could easily find himself getting sacked. He needs to make these tough decisions now, before itโs too late. If he continues showing favoritism and refusing to make the necessary changes, he will eventually lose his job.
