A Georgia church deacon and high school teacher is facing criminal charges after allegedly kicking four children off a church bus and leaving them stranded on the side of a busy road. According to police, Erin Menefee, 42, was arrested following an October 11 incident involving children ages 9, 10, 11, and 12. The children were reportedly riding home from Oakridge Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia, when Menefee allegedly ordered them off the bus for cursing, fighting, and being disruptive. The children’s mother told authorities that Menefee left them at an intersection several miles from home. She reportedly drove around searching for the children but couldn’t locate them. A stranger eventually found the four children and brought them home. According to the police report, a family member claimed Menefee said the children were misbehaving and that he “don’t play that.” When questioned by police, Menefee reportedly admitted to leaving the children behind, explaining that their behavior was disruptive and that he made the decision for his safety. He claimed he contacted their grandmother but acknowledged that he should have waited until someone arrived to pick them up. Menefee, who also works as a teacher at Mitchell County High School, was arrested and charged with four counts of reckless conduct. He has since been released on bond. Do you think the bus driver should have been arrested, or was he justified in removing the children because of their behavior?

Comcast is among several major companies that have reportedly contributed millions toward President #DonaldTrump’s new White House ballroom project.💰 According to The Washington Post, Comcast donated $7.5 million toward the construction of the ballroom, which is replacing the White House’s East Wing. The outlet obtained a list revealing how much major donors contributed after the White House previously disclosed their names without specifying amounts. #Apple and Nvidia were among the biggest contributors, each donating $25 million, alongside the Adelson Family Foundation and the Charlie Ergen household and donor-advised fund. Google contributed $22 million through a settlement tied to Trump’s lawsuit over his YouTube suspension following the January 6 Capitol attack, while Amazon reportedly gave $5 million. Comcast was the only other major media company listed as contributing at least $100,000. Altogether, donations have reportedly reached nearly $330 million, although the ballroom’s final price tag remains unclear, with previous estimates reaching as high as $500 million. The project has also faced legal challenges, with a federal judge previously ordering construction to stop until Congress approved it. However, the #SupremeCourt has since allowed work to continue while the case moves through the lower courts. Construction is already well underway, with the building’s framework rising on the White House grounds.

Well that was a MISSION. But I have been wanting to paint that room for ages. Took way longer than I thought because I had to prime it first which was really boring but unavoidable. And I’m still not finished. Gotta add some nice lighting and paint the ceiling. 🥳 Our salted caramel bites kept me going. 😅 What do you think???
