2 days agoYou get your reference through HR not individual colleagues. HR will contact your line manager to give you the reference
2 days agoThis happened to me too, when I was moving from my ward to a different ward. They tossed me up and down because the manager was away. It was my new manager who reported them because she needed me to resume urgently in her ward. That very day, they did my reference. lol
2 days agoExxept this your experience was many years back. As far back as 2013/14, You do not need individual manager to give reference. All you do is provide your potential company your current employer "s HR detail. All HR needs to provide is duration of work, your role capacity, any record of sickness or mitigation.
