When someone keeps making you question your own memory, documentation can become your greatest protection.

In toxic workplaces and relationships, it's easy to lose sight of patterns when you're constantly stressed, overwhelmed, or being told you're the problem.

Documentation helps you take back control.

Record what happened, when, where, who was involved, and who witnessed it. Document the good, the bad, and everything in between.

Over time, those individual moments become a timeline. And patterns that were difficult to recognize in the moment can become much clearer.

Documentation isn't just about proving what happened to others. It's about being able to trust yourself.

More on my documentation system soon. 🌱

📌 You don't need to wait until something becomes serious to start documenting. In fact, starting early is what makes it so useful. - I'll be breaking down the templates, tagging systems, and methods I've used to organize hundreds of incidents and pieces of evidence. - 💬 What do you think would be most helpful to learn next: creating an incident log, organizing evidence, or identifying patterns? - 🌱 I'm also advocating for student-worker protections at The University of Arizona. Petition in BI-0!
