How Aang’s Broken Promise Opened the Spirit Portal & Doomed Korra's Past Lives
The lore doesn't lie. 🚨 Everyone loves to blame Korra, but the timeline speaks for itself.
Aang breaking his oath in Wan Shi Tong's library destroyed the spirits' trust in the Avatar forever. That exact grudge made Wan Shi Tong align with Unalaq, leading directly to Jinora's capture and forcing Korra to open the spirit portal—which ultimately caused the loss of the past lives.
Korra was cleaning up consequences that started long before her time! 💯🔥

I kinda blame Sokka more for it than Aang. Would have been worth it if the Kyoshi warriors weren't fodder and lost the fight giving the "in" to Azula. People be blaming Korra too much for Unalaq. He was actually top tier villain material.

Aang broke the oath ➡️ Wan Shi Tong holds a grudge ➡️ Unalaq uses that trust to trap Jinora ➡️ Korra is forced to open the portal. The timeline speaks for itself. 💯🔥 Drop your thoughts below! 👇
