A 35-year-old Louisiana man was arrested after allegedly refusing to pay a woman $1,800 for sex. According to police, Devon Deshun Hall met the woman through an app and purchased her a Greyhound bus ticket to travel to Monroe, where she agreed to stay with him for several days. The woman claims they had sex multiple times, but Hall repeatedly delayed paying her, prompting her to contact police around 3 a.m. on October 11. When questioned, Hall admitted they had sex but denied agreeing to pay $1,800, claiming he only intended to give her around $1,000. He was arrested and charged with enticing persons into prostitution.
