I saw a woman today reading from a Thomas Scott Bible from the 1800s. She was reading notes from parts of the book of Revelation. In these notes, it is saying that Rome is part of the unholy Trinity, which I don’t doubt that much but in these notes, it also says doing the sign of the cross is actually the mark of the beast.. And these notes say that wearing across is blasphemy because it started with Rome. But it did not start with Rome. It started in the second century to show your profession of faith. Does anyone know anything about this Thomas Scott Bible? And who is this Rev. was and what is background was? Glory be to God! Without God, we are all sheep. I do believe that the papal authority declaring that Pontifex Maximus (the pope) to be the vicar of Christ is false as they believe in apostolic succession, but many of the popes have been atheist and only wanted that role for power. They have enough wealth to feed the homeless, close the homeless and house the homeless. But they are hoarding it which is biblical. Can I have some thoughts on the subject, please?!
