Full outter arm sleeve knocked out in 1 session.

Shout out to my guy Carlo I appreciate you trusting me to do this for you. We sat down for a consultation and went over some images. He showed me the style that he was going for. From there we went to work and pieced everything together to fit his arm.

After my twins, I felt like I was fighting against my own body, trying to heal my diastasis recti (ab separation).

Since then, I’ve gotten certified to teach this but these are still the things I wish I’d known sooner. I think they would have made my own healing smoother and faster.

Ok here we go:

1. 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 You can flex or suck in all you want, but that often creates downward pressure on your pelvic floor, which can lead to leakingand back pain from overcompensation

2. 𝐍𝐨 𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐱 𝐚 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐤, 𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞. You can lose a layer of fat and still have a belly pooch from diastasis recti. So first learn to breathe, then learn to brace, then increase the challenge, and be amazed!

3. 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐨𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭𝐬. There’s no need to fear a sit-up. You may just not be ready to weave it back into your routine yet, but you can eventually! Real core progress comes from learning the base layer of core connection, then adding progressions to work back up to challenging moves. And don’t just do what someone else with abs is doing. It might not be right for you.

4. 𝟑𝟔𝟎 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤. It seemed woo-woo to me at first, but now I see it as a vital skill, not only for my core but for my nervous system and stress levels too.
