I have felt immense sadness and immense pride especially the last few days. But this post, goes beyond that. I wanted to post about him here, because it is important now more than ever in today’s zeitgeist, to be inspired by his bravery, to act on when we think someone needs us, make ourselves slightly uncomfortable if need be, to be open to hearing other people’s opinions, to listen to different sides with grace, to let go of pettiness, to have fun with your whole heart. To rage when you need to, be gentle when you need to. To not take yourself so seriously, while also being serious when it mattered. I hope you take a minute to read up on this incredible man, what he wrote and what he read, what we think today, he was talking the talk and walking the walk year ago.

#Reggie’s mom is speaking out after #Dezz called on her and his family to support him as he navigates trauma and drug use. She also spoke about taking Reggie to therapy and shared that she doesn’t know what happened in the Clover House that seemingly triggered him to bring up past trauma. At the Forbes 30/50 5-Year Anniversary Summit with @knowyourvalue, the actress and early childhood advocate joined Forbes Executive Vice President Moira Forbes for a conversation about community, influence and what it means to make a lasting impact.⁣

For Uma, real power isn't about individual influence, but the motivation, love and collaboration behind it.
